Tell me about yourself. What brought you to love injecting?

I went to La Salle University. I graduated in 1999 with a Bachelor’s degree in nursing. Then I worked at University of Pennsylvania in the surgical ICU. After, I moved to San Diego to continue working in the ICU and eventually started working for a plastic surgeon. I worked there for five years and then I moved back to Pennsylvania and worked for a Dermatologist. I eventually transitioned back into injecting and started at Rejuvenation Medical Aesthetics. Injecting just came naturally to me. I didn’t originally plan on doing it, but after seeing and learning about the anatomy, I saw what we could do to enhance people’s looks, and it became a natural passion.

What is your skin regimen?

I use the PCA Skin Blemish Control Bar to wash my face every morning and night, because I have oily skin prone to acne. I then use ZO Medical C Bright and the PCA Hyaluronic Acid Boosting Serum. I also use our RMA eye cream and Elta MD Daily Sunscreen everyday. At night I use the ZO Medical Ommerse Night Renewal Creme. I also use Latisse.

What do you wish you knew about skincare when you were younger?

Stay out of the sun, or to protect yourself in the sun. I started doing this at the age of 26, which made a huge difference for me.

What is the ideal age to start preventative botox treatments?

Anywhere from 30-35 for preventative aging. Late 20’s for deeper hereditary lines. I usually suggest every 4-6 months for younger patients. I’m able to put small amounts to soften lines in a very natural way. NO more frozen faces!! 40+ usually is starting to see some aging and the frequency would be more, ranging from every 3-4 months.

What do you do in your free time?

I hangout with my two children, my husband, and my dog. I also love to travel.

What is your favorite skincare product to use?

In this climate, due to the current cold weather outside and windy and dry air inside, PCA hyaluronic acid boosting serum is great to mix with morning and night creams for an added boost. PCA Hydraluxe and the PCA dry skin relief bar are also great for the winter.

What is your favorite treatment to do on patients?

Botox because results are almost instantaneous every week and it makes you look awake and not tired. number one cosmetic performed treatment in the world

What is your favorite treatment to receive?

Botox and microneedling because it helps with fine lines and big pores, and thats my major concern.

What treatment are you loving the most right now?

Vollure or Volbella to the lips-they both provide a subtle yet soft lip augmentation for the most natural look.

What trending treatment do you think will be the hottest this season?

Lips-plumping for younger people (25-35) and more subtle enhancements for finer vertical lip lines (45-55). We have a multitude of different products to customize different treatments.

What is one misconception people have about botox?

Once you do it you have to keep doing it forever, or that it makes your face frozen. You can put small amounts of botox to soften lines in the forehead and around the eyes.

What is one treatment that mostly everyone can benefit from?

Microneedling or botox.

What is the most rewarding part of your job?

Making people feel more beautiful on the outside and more confident on the inside
